How to Connect Website Enquiries to a CRM
If website enquiries arrive as emails that someone has to copy into a spreadsheet or CRM, leads will eventually slip through. Connecting your forms directly to your CRM fixes that.

What a connected enquiry flow looks like
- A visitor submits a form on your website
- A contact and lead are created in your CRM
- The lead is assigned to the right person
- A follow-up task and reminder are created
- Your team gets a notification and the customer gets a confirmation email
- The enquiry appears in your reporting
Step 1: Decide what information you need
Keep forms short. Ask only for what you need to respond well, such as name, contact details, service required and a brief description. Each extra field reduces completions.
Step 2: Map fields to your CRM
Every form field should have a matching place in the CRM. Decide how enquiries are categorised, for example by service or source, so reporting works later.
Step 3: Choose the connection method
Options include a native integration, a connector tool or a direct API connection. A direct connection is often more reliable and avoids extra subscriptions. Our CRM integrations and automation service covers each approach.
Step 4: Add automation and spam protection
Automate the next step so nothing depends on memory. Use spam protection that does not frustrate real customers, such as hidden honeypot fields or invisible checks.
Step 5: Test and monitor
Submit test enquiries, check every field arrives correctly and set up alerts if a sync fails.
